modi-communal-violence2 June 2014, Pune:Mohsin Sadiq Shaikh, a 24-year-old IT professional, was lynched and killed by a mob after morphed photos of Shivaji and others were circulated on social media. Shaikh had no connection with the said photos or their circulation. Mohsin was wearing a skull cap and sported a beard, while returning from namaz that day, and could be the reason why he was singled out for the violence. Leaders of Hindu Rashtra Sena were arrested for murder.
