This Blog is dedicated to the struggling masses of India. This is our humble effort from Chhattisgarh to present the voices of the oppressed people throughout India and to portray their daily struggles against the plunder and pillage that goes on against them throughout the country. The broad underlying idea is to be in support and solidarity with the people in their struggle to protect and uphold their own natural resources and human rights. We believe that the Constitution of India and the laws made under it contain sufficient strength and bestow sweeping rights on the people of India. However, the grim reality is that such Constitutionally mandated rights and laws are seldom implemented when it comes to real lives of real people. Thus, as representatives of the toiling masses of Chhattisgarh, we believe that working at the ground level and portraying the voices, the lives and the struggles of the people so as to ensure that the Constitutionally mandated rights of the people are ensured is the need of the hour.
Under the guidance of Peoples Union of Civil Liberties (PUCL), Chhattisgarh this blog is an initiative to carry the Peoples' movement to uphold their Constitutional rights forward.
